Introduction to Rigid Heddle weaving

This is a custom, on-demand full day course for up to two people, please contact me first to discuss your requirements and the course will then be created for you to book online. Cost is £120 for one person for an individual one-to-one workshop, or £150 for two people booking together. Price includes all materials and tea/coffee, please bring your own packed lunch. Timing is flexible but typically 9.30 am-4pm.

You will learn how to design a warp, warp your rigid heddle loom and weave a variety of structures including using a pickup stick to create more complex patterns. Instructions will also be provided on finishing techniques including hemstitching on the loom. You will leave with a unique sampler that can be turned into, for example, a bag, pouch, table mats, or a wall hanging.

Option to bring your own loom and/or yarns. If you are thinking of buying a loom, do give me a call and I will be happy to advise on the options.
